Creativity was always a part of my childhood. My four siblings and I spent hours painting, drawing, and creating, while my mom faithfully documented it all with her oversized video camera. Sadly, as technology changed, most of those home videos were never transferred and were eventually lost. I'd give anything to watch those ordinary moments again.

Maybe that's why photography has always meant so much to me.

Although I fell in love with photography in college, it wasn't until I photographed my one-year-old daughter that I truly understood its power. When I looked at that image, oh how tears flowed! It wasn't because it was perfect—it was because it made me feel something. In that moment, I knew I wanted to create that same feeling for others.

Today, one of the greatest joys of my work is hearing clients say they teared up when they saw their gallery. Knowing I've helped preserve a season they'll never get back is the greatest privilege I could ask for.
